When you're editing a long
document, most probably you will be working on it over a number of days.
Each time you re-open a document to start another
day's work on it, it can be painful to have to scroll down to where you were
last time (if you can even remember where that was).
So one of my favourite
shortcuts to solve this problem is Shift+F5 (or Cmd+Option+Z
(Mac)/Alt+Ctrl+Z (PC)). This shortcut (GoBack) takes you
back
to your previous insertion point, even if that was from your last session
using the document.
Just make sure that when you re-open your document,
the first thing you do is to press Shift+F5, otherwise you might not end
up getting to the
right
place!
